THE ANTICHRIST
CHAPTER 3

“The most spiritual men, as the strongest, find their happiness where others would find their destruction: in the labyrinth, in hardness against themselves and others, in experiments. Their joy is self-conquest: asceticism becomes in them nature, need, and instinct. Difficult tasks are a privilege to them; to play with burdens that crush others, a recreation. Knowledge-a form of asceticism. They are the most venerable kind of man: that does not preclude their being the most cheerful and the kindliest. ”

In this new chapter, Nietzsche presents us an issue related with the kind of man who needs education,, man should consider as the most valuable and worth living for himself.

The author says that this kind of man exist very often, but they are a very fortunate case, never wished, they are feared. There is a reason for this, because people wish a man easy to handle, weak, like a pet, and the main cause for this, is Christianity
